A general encyclopedia containing over 25,000 information segments appropriate for the research needs of school students.

Middle Search Plus

Provides full text for more than 140 popular, middle school magazines. Full text is also available for thousands of biographies and historical essays. Middle Search Plus also contains 84,774 biographies, 105,786 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 341,655 photos, maps and flags.

Preschool Pioneer

Preschool Pioneer Library aggregates interactive learning games, curriculum ideas, parent and caregiver support materials, and other vetted resources from PBS, national, and local providers. The site is free to all families with young children in Utah.

Primary Search

Provides full text for more than 70 popular magazines for elementary school students. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator, and full text information dates as far back as 1990.

Provides free one-to-one tutoring, homework help, and professional development sessions for Orem Public Library card holders.

World Book for Kids

Offers access to full-text World Book entries and many photographs, maps, and charts. A special section on exploring Utah that provides links to applicable encyclopedia articles and information on the state, biographies of important Utahans, and information about the State’s economy and population. This online reference resource also includes an atlas and a dictionary. This is a great place to begin any research assignment.
